Refund Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how Sunday Method handles cancellations, refunds, service credits, and billing adjustments for content strategy and marketing support services. We keep the policy direct: creative and advisory work is billed for time, judgement, preparation, and reserved studio capacity, so refund decisions depend on what stage the work has reached.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, pauses, and service credits are handled for Sunday Method engagements. It applies to content strategy, content positioning support, editorial and campaign planning, creative asset coordination, audience interaction insight, workshops, and related digital materials provided by the studio.
Because our work is advisory, creative, and time-based, fees compensate planning time, research, strategic judgement, coordination, and reserved studio capacity. Refunds are therefore handled according to the stage of work already performed and the commitments already made for your engagement.
2. Monthly retainers
Monthly retainers are billed in advance unless a written scope states otherwise. Retainer payments reserve studio time for the month and are not refundable once that service period has begun.
You may cancel an ongoing retainer by giving the notice period stated in your written scope. If no notice period is stated, thirty days’ written notice is required. Work continues through the paid notice period unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
3. Project-based services
For fixed-fee projects, deposits and milestone payments are applied to discovery, planning, creative direction, coordination, drafting, review, and production work. A deposit becomes non-refundable once work has started.
If you cancel a project before completion, you remain responsible for fees covering work already performed, time already reserved, and any non-cancellable costs or commitments made in connection with the project. Where a milestone has not yet begun, the studio may, at its discretion, refund or credit the unused portion.
4. Digital materials and templates
Digital materials, frameworks, guides, downloadable documents, templates, worksheets, and similar files are non-refundable once delivered or made available, unless the file is materially defective and we are unable to provide a reasonable replacement.
Access problems should be reported promptly. If a download link, document, or file access issue is caused by the studio, we will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide the material in another suitable format.
5. Workshops and sessions
Scheduled workshops, consultations, review calls, and guided sessions may be rescheduled when reasonable notice is given. Unless the written scope states a different period, please provide at least forty-eight hours’ notice before the scheduled start time.
Missed sessions, late arrivals, and cancellations made without reasonable notice may be charged in full. If the studio must reschedule, we will offer an alternative time or, where appropriate, apply a credit for the affected session.
6. Revision work
Reasonable revisions included in the written scope are part of the original fee. Additional revisions, changes in direction, new deliverables, rush requests, or work outside the agreed scope may require a separate fee or amended scope.
A request for revision is not a basis for a refund where the studio has delivered work consistent with the agreed scope. We will make a good-faith effort to address clear concerns within the revision process described for the engagement.
7. Client delays and inactivity
If a project is delayed because required information, feedback, approvals, access, or materials are not provided by you, fees already paid remain applied to the engagement and are not automatically refundable.
Where a project remains inactive for an extended period, the studio may close the engagement after reasonable notice. Reopening a closed engagement may require a new schedule, revised pricing, or an updated scope.
8. Non-refundable costs
Expenses, third-party costs, subcontractor fees, platform charges, licensed assets, special purchases, and other commitments approved by you or reasonably required for the engagement are non-refundable once incurred.
Sunday Method does not manage paid advertising budgets, media buying, or affiliate marketing spend. Any such costs paid directly by you to third parties are outside this Refund Policy and must be addressed with the relevant provider.
9. How to request a refund or credit
To request a refund, credit, cancellation, or billing review, contact the studio with your name, organization, invoice reference, service type, and a short explanation of the issue. We may ask for additional information so that we can review the request fairly.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing times vary by payment provider and bank. Where a refund is not available, the studio may offer a partial credit at its discretion.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy as our services, billing practices, or legal requirements change. The version posted on this page applies to purchases, invoices, and engagements from the date shown above, unless a written agreement states otherwise.
